What is breast cancer?

Have you seen the pink ribbon and thought nothing of it? It is everywhere right! Who cares?

Wrong. That pink ribbon stands as a dimmer of hope and perseverance for many women and men the face the battle of breast cancer. By logical definition, breast cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast (National Breast Cancer Foundation).

However, the realistic definition of breast cancer is hell. The cancerous cells eat away at a woman’s most profound distinction. The cells do not only attack in the breasts, they attack a person’s joy, attitude, and outlook on life.
