Anyone and everyone can help in the fight against breast cancer, and together we can beat cancer once and for all.

What is breast cancer?

Have you seen the pink ribbon and thought nothing of it? It is everywhere right! Who cares?

Wrong. That pink ribbon stands as a dimmer of hope and perseverance for many women and men the face the battle of breast cancer. By logical definition, breast cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast (National Breast Cancer Foundation).

However, the realistic definition of breast cancer is hell. The cancerous cells eat away at a woman’s most profound distinction. The cells do not only attack in the breasts, they attack a person’s joy, attitude, and outlook on life.

The Journey Begins

Hello, thank you to all who are interested in learning about the effects of breast cancer. About a year ago, a close family member of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer. I realized with all the evidence out there about breast cancer, I still felt lost and confused. Please take this journey with me to discover more about breast cancer and what we can do.

Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
